Hévíz mud soap with cocoa butter
This beautiful black mud is a forever source of spectacular medicinal soaps. Since it is recommended for inflammatory skin diseases, I like to combine it with mild, gentle and healing ingredients. The oils are: olive, decreased amount of coconut oil, soybean oil, lard (it was known as an active anti-inflammatory agent and base of salves in folk medicine, this is why I love to use it in many of my soaps), cocoa butter and castor oil.
Many many milks: cream and whey as well :) Ground linseed, salt (to make it a light brine-like soap), and the pink line is madder root. Scented with lemongrass, just because I like it, and it is strong enough to hide the smell of the mud. The waves remind us of the black lake of Hévíz.
